BRRR! This cold East Coast winter has me dreaming of warmer days. I wish I was sitting by a pool eating some high protein frozen yogurt- YUM! This recipe is the perfect basic formula for creating any protein packed frozen yogurt flavor that you can think of!

For example, if you want to make chocolate banana flavored frozen yogurt, simply use frozen bananas and chocolate protein powder. Don’t have chocolate protein powder? Throw in a tablespoon of antioxidant packed raw cacao!

You can also use more than one type of fruit to flavor your froyo. I’m thinking pineapple-mango, strawberry-banana, chocolate-acai… the possibilities are endless!

No one likes a healthy dessert filled with artificial sweeteners and GMOs! Remember to use clean, local, and organic ingredients whenever possible to make the healthiest protein shakes and desserts.

Basic High Protein Frozen Yogurt

  • ¾ cup greek yogurt
  • 1 cup frozen fruit
  • ½ scoop Perfect Plant Protein Perfect Plant Protein
  • 1 tbsp. raw honey

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend on high until the icecream is rich and creamy. Once you’ve finished blending, pour the frozen yogurt mixture into a freezer safe container and freeze for 30 minutes to 1 hour. When the frozen yogurt has hardened up a bit, top with fresh fruit and whipped cream for a protein packed dessert that’s delicious and nutritious!
