YUM! What a super delicious protein shake! I love peanut butter- I love bananas- I love protein! What a perfect combination. As for every video I post, I will provide a review to help you better choose the right protein shake for you!

Here are my notes…

When a shake calls for almond milk, be sure to use organic or make your own. Almond milk is a huge offender in the GMO department and watch out for those artificial sweeteners and preservatives!
I would use Perfect Plant Protein, a raw organic protein powder, instead of whey protein. Animal based proteins can be harder to break down! On this same note, I like that he chose to use vanilla protein powder. I used Vanilla Perfect Plant Protein for my protein shake.
This shake might be even better with superfood additions. I would choose raw honey, coconut oil, or raw cacao for an added boost of nutrients and energy!

Peanut Butter Banana Protein Shake

  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 scoop protein
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1 tbsp. natural peanut butter
  • 1 dash cinnamon

Layer the ingredients in the blender in the following order for easiest blending: ice, frozen banana, natural peanut butter, protein powder, cinnamon, and almond milk. Blend on high until the protein shake is rich, creamy, and fully blended.

With the addition of healthy vegetarian protein, you can make this entirely plant based and still full of protein. Shakes that are rich with perfect are the best way to consume easily digestible protein after a workout. For all of the above reasons, this protein shake is perfect for your healthy and active lifestyle.
